Actually the point of this story is that I haven't had a 'game story' experience since 1996. Back in college I used to play Jane's Advanced Tactical Fighters with the guy in the next room with direct dialing modem setup. We used to have the most fun doing that. I always flew Soviet planes and he flew NATO. We used to do head to head combat. The best moments I remember were close in dogfighting with guns, the 'knife fight' In the Su-35 Platypus ground attack plane. I also remember getting an expansion with the Su-31 and reward firing heat seekers. Seriously, I still talk about specific dogfights from the day...
